i Love my clients!

Its my goal… my desire…

each and every session, I want my clients to have fun, relax and enjoy our time together.  We often have a few giggles, and chuckles during a session, and it warms my heart.  A portrait session isnt supposed to be stiff, and uncomfortable, in my opinion if it is, your resulting images will also appear stiff and uncomfortable. Its funny how “close” I sometimes get with my clients..take Melissa and Kyle for example… I had the pleasure of meeting them a month or so ago, to do their maternity session. Well I am sure almost every day after that poor Melissa was trying to get her darn baby out, and we were joking with each other on facebook, about the what NOT to do’s, and the what to do’s!

Skip back 2 weeks, I am on my way back from camping, and i get a wonderful phone call from Melissa.. telling me she just had her baby boy.. this was about 8 hours after birth! Poor exhausted Mommy! Well we wiggled some things around and we managed to get Carter’s session done when he was only 4 days old! (I love it when I can get it done when they are under one week old). Of course when I get there, it turns out Kyle ahd to go to work…( silly alberta oilfield anyways)… but no worries, he would be home to catch the end of the session. SO melissa and I worked our way through the session, and Carter was an absolulte dream! He barely even peed on anyone! Kyle walks in, and we finish off the session with a few more giggles, and a momentous event! Kyle is the FIRST daddy NOT TO GET PEED on!  WOOHOOO for Kyle!

images like this one..proove to me that YES! My clients do have fun…and I love them for it!
