Celebrating Adoption!

For those of you who don’t know..I am a volunteer for an organization called Celebrating Adoption. It is a super gathering of professional photographers from all over North America, who have banded together to help promote and celebrate adoption. We offer no charge session fee’s and another secret bonus to any and ALL families that are adopting or who HAVE adopted within the past 6 months. We all firmly believe that adoption is something that more people should celebrate and be proud to be a part of. I for one, am thrilled to be involved with this non-profit organization!

I had the distinct pleasure of traveling to Edmonton tonight to have a family session, for one of the most amazing families I have yet to meet. They have 6 children…4 boys and 2 wonderful little girls! From the moment I received the first email inquiry I knew this family was special. When I was greeted at the door, by mom I just knew that this session was going to be fun! The love that was in this household..was amazing, I feel so honored to have been asked to spend a few hours with them. It was a wonderful experience, your family truly made me VERY proud to be involved with CA (Celebrating Adoption), and I can only hope that the portraits we captured today will be something you will love forever!

We battled the elements this afternoon, harsh sun, harsh shadows, and brutal wind… but I am so thrilled with the results…

as promised for you MOM..here is a sneak peek of the girls in the petticoats!
