Red Deer Maternity, Newborn and Baby Photography

amongst the bitter cold…. sheesh its been about -45C here this week with the windchill..for all my American friends…thats also -46F. that F can stand for many things… freezing…Fahrenheit…and one more word that goes ahead of freezing!

Here are a few more from my last session…this is mr R again…in all his glory…i just love how he held his little hands…his mommy said that he really loved to do this..so I am glad that I was able to get a nice shot of it!

and so far.. I think this is my favorite image from the session… I can just picture a this as a portrait hanging right there on the wall..right above where he is laying!

I spent the afternoon with the first of my fullmoon babies today!

a house full of BOYS! 3 of them! ( 4 including Daddy) Let me tel you this mommy has her hands FULL! A good FULL however, THe newest addition mr “R”, is a whopping 5 days old today, and he was a superstar!!!!

I am off for the weekend, treating myself to a spa at the pigeon lake spa….OOHH CANT WAIT!<

ANYONE who says the full moon DOES NOT work to induce labor..had better give me a call!

Way back when I was pregnant my first…right away at 5 weeks pregnant I checked out my Due date, and it was about 5 days AFTER a full moon, so I joked about her birthday actually being the date of the full moon…well…9 ish months later…yup..she was born on the full moon!

so…leap forward about 4 1/2 years… I have been waiting for my last two maternity clients of 2007 to deliver their new additions…One was due last week sometime I believe and the other, not until next week..

Guess what happened today?

BOTH of them had their babies! 2 brand spanking new baby BOYS to take some photos of!!! I am so excited… so stay tuned for a gazillion baby boy photos over the next few weeks!

now not to be outdone in the least…here is my latest and greatest wee client..I am just finishing up her gallery, so MOMMY…watch for an email tomorrow afternoon!!! so here is another quick sneak peek of Miss J ?

most often I get a few crazy looks when I am taking photos of their children..sometimes is the things I do to get their children to interact with me, sometimes it is the positions I wiggle myself into to get the shot, and other times its just the shot that they giggle at… well this is one of them… what I see in my brain, and through the lens, is most often not anything close to what my clients see.

ok my wonderful friend Cat just told me about a neat little trick about Firefox…I was complaining to her about the fact that my blog needed a spell checker…and we were saying how Firefox generally catches most of the errors…but then I said, too bad it doesn’t fix them for me…so she says to me…silly..just right click on the red underlined word..and it will give you the options of what to replace it with….VoiLA…works slick! thanx a TON Cat!
