one more!

I couldn’t resist editing up one of these…this couch…is my new favorite item! Last week I was scoping out some new locations, and low and behold there this beauty was…laying on its back…so needless to say.. I leapt out of my truck, the adrenaline was pumping enough that I hoisted the thing into the back of the truck all by myself! I knew I had this session with all these young children, and as soon as I saw it, my heart skipped a beat. Is it wrong to get so excited by something? My husband thinks I am crazy…when I pulled up with this beauty in the back…he thought he recognized the truck…but then said Nope…we dont have an ugly couch like that…( sorry hunny..we now are the proud owners of this ugly, ( not so ugly to me) couch!). Im SURE he thinks I have lost my marbles… now I just need to figure out WHERE to STORE this baby!

the cut…

well my youngest…needed a haircut… I have fought it for a few months now…but last night at supper I knew I HAD to do it… ( yes..it was a mess…I actually stuck a barette in his hair to keep it out of his eyes, so he could eat…

here is the before…pardon the mess on his face…but hey..my kids are normal…

I hope everyone has a super weekend! I have one more session to do tonight…remember the 3 sisters that were all pregnant at the same time? well yeah…ALL of those kids, plus a few more…

when I am done tonight, i think I am going to go crawl into a hole…my baby is growing up..too fast!

yoga….

funny how small the world really can be…especially here in Red Deer. IF you remember a few weeks and hunt down the maternity portraits for Mark & Jen…then skip ahead to today’s sneak peek. You will see two women that met in the same prenatal yoga class! As I was doing Kristin’s maternity session today she was commenting on how she and Jen had set a lunch date for yesterday, and that she never heard back from Jen…and that maybe jen had had her wonderful little baby already. Well i didn’t think so, because I just KNEW that MARK would have called me right away to let me know…so yah… I finish off Kristin’s session, head back to my truck..and low and behold..a really SUPER excited message from Mark… BABY BOY… LAST NIGHT!!!!! so A HUGE congrats to my friends Mark & Jen! I cant not wait for Monday..to see your newest addition!

Now for Kristin’s sneaks!

Kristin was brave, and I love her for that!…I honestly dont have many people willing to let me use my green…but I PERSONALLY love it..and I am hoping that you do to! Its bright, its fresh, and its fun! Hey wait…thats JUST my style! hee hee

Dont you just LOVE that name? I think its calming…and perfect for this lil man! He slept almost the entire time, and was such a gentleman..he only peed on mommy, and a wee bit on daddy.. just as promised!

im back from my session this morning, and here we go…A few last sneak peeks for Margaret! I so enjoyed meeting you, and I can not wait to head back to Olds for the session with your newborn! Its so fun when a client wants to do something a bit different…I just LOVE shooting outside, so I giggled in glee, when she mentioned about heading outside for some shots! We drove just outside of town, to a friend of hers home..and was I delighted when I saw the location…you can GUARANTEE that we will be back their for some newborn portraits too!
