Some of you may remember way back in December I had a super cool contest! It was for a great organization called Giving Is Awesome (Here is my original post on it) I had a really hard time choosing the winner so in the end I chose 2! ( Here is my post announcing the winning entries!) They won a free session by yours truly and the complete digital file collection of all the images in their gallery! (total value over $2000)!

Well it took awhile for everyone to get together..plus we had such a LATE spring, that I am now finally getting to my giving is awesome sessions! It was well worth the wait! I am so very honored to have met Alexa and Ava. They are such an amazing duo! I am so very proud of the both! I will sooo be keeping tabs on her as she grows up!

So this is miss Ava. In all her 17 month glory…she is a handful! But so much of a sweetheart at the same time!

Leighton Paige ~ Red_Deer_Newborn_Photographer

I traveled East of Red Deer on Friday for a sweet baby girl session. How could I resist a baby girl named Leighton Paige? Well let me tell you she is as sweet as her name sounds!

It was so great to be in a home where a baby is loved so much! Gramma was there, and was bugging me that I was getting more snuggling time that she was!

2 ~ Red_Deer_Maternity_Photography

soon enough there will be not one but 2 little babies in this household! TWIN baby girls too! YAY!!!!!!

I had a fun quick maternity session on Thursday afternoon With Desiree and Josh! I am so excited to head back sometime around the middle of August! I just know that the newborn session is going to be AWESOME!

Desiree wanted some black and whites for the walls in her home, so we set up for a few more traditional style maternity shots

2 amazing girls and their ponies!

I giggled with glee a few weeks ago when I got a call for a session with horses! As some of you know, I am an avid horse lover and owner, so when I get to mix horses with my work its the best of both worlds for sure! Amy and Andrea were awesome, as well as their horses.. ( ALL 4 of them!) We dodged the rain, ran around like crazy people, used cow bells, flashlights, and even made feeble attempts to be a ‘panther’ all in the quest for the perfect shot!

I have only had a chance to do a quick peek, but I am THRILLED with what I have seen!

Crazy couple from Calgary!_Red_Deer_wedding_Photographer

I met with a great couple on Tuesday night for another engagement session ( tis the season isnt it!). Ashley and Richard (& their dogs) traveled up from Calgary for a fun session! We met and did some quick shots with the “whole family” then headed off for a great stroll, enjoying the super weather and amazing light!

Engagement session FUN!~ Sylvan_Lake_wedding_Photographer

Last week I met with some great clients of mine! The first time I met Kristin & Emile (and Hudson), about 13 months ago for a maternity session! Then again for a fun newborn session, and just over a year later its ENGAGEMENT session time! I am so super excited to be with them again in September for their wedding!

WE headed out and did some fun family portraits first, then we ditched the kid.. ( heheha…grandma & grandpa came to rescue him) then we went out for a few with just the adults!
