I had a wonderful day today.. it was filled with lots of fingers and toes, and smiles and purring. Triplets are simply the most amazing thing EVER. I first met with wonderful family back in the fall at the MOMS on the Go tradeshow. I have been patiently awaiting the arrival of these wonderful small lives. They were very well worth the wait.. some of the most amazing subjects I have yet to photograph. These three wonderful beings were concieved naturally! No drugs, no fertility treatments! the boys are identical twins and the little girl was a singleton! Its that totally amazing! There was one point today I had to stop shooting and just look. I had to take it all in.. there was 30 fingers and 30 toes all in a mishmash of naked newborn-ness. It was beautiful, and I am so honored to have been asked to photograph these little wonders!
Since there were 30 fingers and 30 toes to work with today, I called upon an upcoming photographer from Innisfail, Nichole Drevenak to come and help me shoosh, swaddle and tuck private parts! A huge thank you to Nichole for helping me this morning I could NOT have done it without you!
To Angela and Brian, thank you so very much for opening your home to myself and Nichole. We very much appreciated your hospitality ( and your great accents! LOL) (they brought us some Timmie’s part way through the session!)
I am doing the mad dash to Las Vegas tomorrow to attend WPPI. Its a HUGE conference of photographers full of LOTS of learning, and lots of Fun. I will be MIA until Friday March 12th! I will still have email access so if you need to chat, just pop me an email!
