I was super suprised to get the phone call from Cindy a week or so ago! Her sweet little bundle was not due until the first week in November! But Alas, she decided to enter the world a bit early! She entered the world just over 4lbs and needed to stay in the special care nursery for a few extra days! She was 8 days old when we arranged to do her newborn session, and what a doll she is!

I know I say this alot.. but I truly LOVE images with daddy’s and their baby girls.. they just speak VOLUMES to me! sigh…

And boy did she LOVE to be swaddled… I dont think I have ever had a baby love it quite so much, as soon as we would get her all wrapped she would just settle and snuggle in. Love this one also!

She was so settled that she even woke up for a while and gave me some sweet epressions. I love it when I get a full eye contact image from a newborn!

Then for fun, we thought we’d try a full family image.. this wonderful puppy was SO SO SO very excited to be part of the image.. she was sooo good.. smooches to her!

As I am sitting here editing all my fall mini sessions, I have noticed one thing.. my clients are all wonderful! They all truly listened to the clothing suggestions, they all came with great attittudes and as a result I was able to capture some amazing portraits for them! When this little one stepped out of the truck I giggled. She is practicing to be Canada’s Next Top Model.. so watch out Red_Deer_Children's_Photographer

The next family up for a mini session had 4 boys!

I honestly cant even imagine! I have 2 and I think I will go insane before they are grown and moved out of the house! However, these 4 little men were amazingly well behaved, super fun and SUPER cute too!

Monday evening we were able to squeeze in 6 of my 15 mini sessions that I had to reschedule due to bad bad Alberta weather! Everyone turned out in GREAT CLOTHING choices! I have to say, I was very very impressed with everyone.. you guys all rocked the wardrobe department! I am going to try to keep up with everyone’s sneak peeks this week, but there are NO promises!

After his sister, Mr Will decided he would choose his own locations for HIS photos! I think he chose WONDERFULLY! Great job WILL!

Let the mini sessions begin! ~ Red_Deer_Photographer

Tis the time of year for myself to go slightly insane! With the mad rush of the past few years, I decided this year to try something a bit different. This year I offered a weekend of quick 20 minute sessions.

I had a wonderful day on Saturday while I spent the afternoon taking photos! I brought along Rylee to hang out, and to do our own little GRADE 1 session ourselves!

Thank you to everyone who came out! AND Im waving HI to Adrienne Marie, who stopped by to introduce herself.. we ‘know’ each other virtually…but have never met in person!

so here we go, the sneak peeks are starting! stay tuned for the rest of this week for the photos from my first annual mini session weekend!

for this sneak peek, i am going to do something different.. I am usually all about color..but I just love these ones …almost as much!

All I can say is CHAD..your going to have your hands full when your girls get bigger! Aren’t they stunning?
