Last week I travelled down to Didsbury for a wonderful newborn session.

Miss Brynley did not disappoint.. she was wonderful, sweet as a pea, and quiet as a bug too!

Welcome Jackson to this wonderful earth!

I travelled North to photograph this newborn about a week ago. What an amazing young man he is. He was absolutely perfect for his portrait session. Now I may be a slight wee tiny bit biased…but only because of the wonderful name he was given! ( hee hee)

These are some of my favorite images I have captured in 2010, I can not wait to finish up his gallery and share the slideshow with Jackson’s wonderful parents!

I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting another Red Deer family blessed with two sons! I know I say this often, but I truly have the most wonderful career ever! I am very glad to be done having my own children.. one is 6, one will be 5 in a month, and the other one just turned 3. But my career enables me to still sneak a few wonderful newborn snuggles a few times a week.. PLUS those newborns never get older.. I always get to see them under 1 week of age!

i love when i get to catch a quick shot of daddy’s and their babies.. he totally didnt know my finger was on the shutter.. hee hee!

On saturday I was blessed with a quick road trip up to Edmonton for a newborn session. We had planned it a bit earlier that week, but my entire household came down with the sickies, so in the best interest of all parties, we decided to postone it for several days. This family is simply amazing, they are so very caring and kind.. you can just feel it when you walk in the door.

Sisters are a wonderful thing. I love them.

Phew.. the last of my run on insanity! hee hee.. just kidding.. I had 5 sessions in the past 6 days! and needless to say, as a result I am way behind on editing.. so I am madly processing my fingers to the bone so that everyone can get their sneek peeks up as soon as possible! And I wanted to say a big thank you to those who graciously understood when I asked if I could bump their sneek peeks a day or so, so I could get these sweet little newborns up and completed! (thats you Nicole & Alexa!)

this was Monday’s session in Lacombe. You should remember mommy & daddy, as they graced my blog not very long ago with a funky outdoor maternity session! ( see here if you missed them! )

I am 100% positive that I could have spent MANY MANY more hours playing with this sweetie..she was simply perfect. fussing when hungry, or wet.. that was it. A newborn photographer’s dream!

this sweet bowl is straight from the Philippines! and perfect for her heritage!

I think this is one of my ALL time favorite newborn images! I love everything about it, the color, the shadows, the cute baby girl!

lincoln @ 36 hours old! ~ Red_Deer_Newborn_Photographer

On Tuesday I had the great pleasure of meeting Lincoln. I have already been this household once already, and I was super excited for the challenge at hand! The kids were amazing, and in fact were AWESOME when it came time to the group shots together, you can tell that their new baby brother is very special to them!

He was amazingly just under 36 hours here! He was so cuddly and sweet! I have so many favorites from this session! and i have a new favorite green blanket ( as you can tell!) LOL!
